Founded in 2021, Bantham Radar Limited is a clinical informatics company dedicated to developing practical, effective tools that support better decision-making, reduce administrative burden, and improve the connection between clinicians and patients.<\/p>

Our focus is on improving the delivery of frontline healthcare by making clinical processes more efficient, accessible, and responsive. We believe in applying the right technology in the right setting, not for its own sake, but to enable faster, more accurate, and more confident decision making.<\/p>

Developed in close collaboration with GPs and dermatology specialists, our RADAR Case Management System (CMS) is designed to streamline the triage and diagnosis of dermatological conditions. It gives patients secure, direct access to primary care, while supporting clinicians with clear, structured clinical information without disrupting existing workflows.<\/p>

Our approach is grounded in clinical realism. We understand the pressures faced by general practice and the importance of simple, safe, and scalable systems. Robert Thomson (Director) is a seasoned executive with a distinguished track record in delivering technology-led solutions across the health and general insurance sectors. With over 13 years at IBM in a series of senior international roles, Robert consistently drove innovation and commercial growth on a global scale.\u00a0He later joined The Huon Corporation as Global Sales and Marketing Director, where he spearheaded the company\u2019s strategic direction and led it to a successful multi-million-pound trade sale.<\/p>

Thomas Falcon\u00a0(Head of Operations & Compliance) is an experienced MedTech executive with a proven track record in operational leadership, compliance, and strategic growth. Most recently Group Chief Operating Officer at OpenRad, he oversaw the post-merger integration of four entities across the UK and EU, scaling operations and securing FDA 510(k) clearance for US expansion while maintaining ISO 13485, MDR and ISO 27001 standards. Prior to this, he served as COO and then Head of Compliance at Visbion Ltd, where he led revenue model transformation, quality improvements, and investor relations\u2014culminating in the successful sale of the business in 2022.<\/p>

Thomas brings particular expertise in software-as-a-medical-device (SaMD) compliance, hybrid operations, and quality system development, including ISO 14971 and NHS DCB0129 clinical safety standards. Alistair Taylor-Sweet\u00a0(Senior Computer Vision Engineer) is a computer vision and machine learning engineer with a background in full-stack software development and academic research. Previously based at the University of Manchester, he developed advanced machine learning models for breast cancer risk prediction and early detection using transformer-based architectures such as ViT and Swin. His work demonstrated notable improvements in predictive accuracy, earning him a presentation slot at SPIE 2025. Alistair has also led experimental research into dataset curation based on expert reader disagreement and has contributed extensively to visualisation and model evaluation tooling in Python.<\/p>

Prior to his research role, Alistair worked as a software engineer at Omnibus, where he developed REST APIs, Angular applications, and database solutions using .NET, C#, and SQL. He holds an MSc in Advanced Computer Science from the University of Manchester and a first-class BSc in Computer Science from Manchester Metropolitan University. Dr Natasha Kapur is a highly respected Consultant Dermatologist based in London,\u202fwith broad expertise in both adult and paediatric skin conditions. After qualifying in 1992 from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, she trained at leading London institutions including St\u202fMary\u2019s, The Brompton, St John\u2019s Institute of Dermatology, the Royal Free and UCLH. She has been at the forefront of introducing photodynamic therapy (PDT) in London teaching hospitals, following her award-winning Geoffrey Dowling Fellowship and research stint in Bern in 2001\u201302 . As Clinical Lead at The Whittington Hospital and Joint Teaching Lead in Dermatology at UCL Medical School, she also serves on the UCL admissions panel, mentoring medical students during their training.<\/p>

Dr Kapur also acts as Principal Investigator in numerous national and international clinical trials, and regularly presents at national and international conferences, has authored book chapters and scientific papers, and continues to enhance patient care through community dermatology clinics and strong collaborations with general practitioners and interdisciplinary teams.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Professor Cyrus Kerawala is the Senior Head and Neck Surgeon at The Royal Marsden Hospital, specialising in mucosal cancer and salivary gland disease. He holds honours degrees in both medicine and dentistry from the University of London and completed specialist training in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery in the Northeast of England. He was appointed as a Consultant in 1999 and moved to The Royal Marsden in 2008, where until recently he served as Clinical Lead for the Head and Neck Unit and Lead Medical Examiner.<\/p>

Professor Kerawala has authored a textbook in Maxillofacial Surgery, written numerous book chapters and over 120 peer-reviewed publications. He has presented over 130 papers at national and international meetings, and has been invited to lecture throughout Europe, America, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia. He has contributed to numerous clinical guidelines, including being clinical lead and chair of two from NICE. His clinical and research interests include microvascular reconstruction, osteoradionecrosis, and minimally-invasive surgical techniques. He is a Past President of both the British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the British Association of Head and Neck Oncologists, and he continues to advise national healthcare bodies on service quality and patient outcome<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Dr Namid Stillman\u00a0is Head of AI at Simudyne, leading the development of advanced simulationbased and deeplearning methods for industrial applications. An interdisciplinary computational scientist by training, he holds a PhD in Engineering Mathematics and has previously conducted postdoctoral research in drug discovery, material science and cell biology at the University of Bristol and University College London.\u00a0At Simudyne since 2023, Dr Stillman drives R&D in artificial intelligence, deploying complex agentic models and generative techniques to tackle realworld challenges in finance and healthcare settings.
He is a prolific author of over 20 peerreviewed works spanning computational biology, nanomedicine, active matter, and AIdriven financial modelling.<\/p>

Professor Steve Williams is a leading authority in neuroimaging, with a research focus spanning the development of innovative imaging techniques from basic science through to clinical application. His work aims to establish brain imaging as a core tool in both neurology and psychiatry by advancing safe, non-invasive methods to measure brain structure, function, physiology, and metabolism. These techniques provide critical insights into brain biology, supporting more accurate diagnoses and informing the creation of new treatment approaches.<\/p>

His current research includes the design of a dedicated, head-only MRI system and the development of faster, quieter imaging protocols tailored to the needs of complex and vulnerable patient groups. Professor Williams also heads the Department of Neuroimaging and the Centre for Neuroimaging Sciences at the South London and Maudsley Hospital, where he leads a multidisciplinary team at the forefront of clinical imaging research.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
